Mom Is Not Awake
When I was 5 years old, I went to wake my mom up from her Sunday nap. Instead of waking up, she played dead (as a joke). It was so convincing that I really thought she died. It was like the scene in The Lion King where Simba tries to wake Mufasa up after he was squished by the wildebeest stampede.
This game is the result of that traumatic event from my childhood.
Thanks to:
- EK, CalculateTheApocalypse, Patrick Johnson and Nick Folkman for playtesting
- Cover art made with Pixsy
- My mom for being unhinged, clearly where I got it from

Interesting. Has a nice feel. I felt like a missile command turret sneaking about.
Thank you so much for playing!
this was VERY cool to play! found myself in discovery mode as i poked around and i love a good atmopspheric horror vibe especially when there's a warped sense of reality. the "meta" part at the end was nice with the decay of the room setting as well. 10/10
Thank you so much for playing Zora! I'm glad you enjoyed exploring the space and that you felt the ending was good.
Ace, super cool...but I didn't run into a 504 error somewhere after the lion.
AHHHH JAMES THANK YOU SO MUCH AND FOR PLAYING!
Awesome! You do a whole lot with (seemingly) very little here. Great work.
Thank you so much! Setting everything in one room and deliberately narrowing the space the player could move meant I had to be pretty creative with what was available.
