‘I Am A Pencil (Aku Sebatang Pensel)’ is a psychological thriller Twine (text-based) game based on homework essays I used to write as a primary school student in Malaysia. Live for one night and one day as a pencil and see where life takes you.

Feels pretty impactful. I'm not quite sure if I understand the story but it made me feel things.

I also used to write these exact same essays in primary school & I love how this one breaks from the formula and goes wild with it! I also really enjoyed the slow descent into actual horror, I thought the pacing was great.

hi it's me again! my friend and i were gaming on discord and we streamed this together and she and i wanna say we really enjoyed this :3 definitely will be discussing pencils and homoerotic tension resembling old movies/criminal couples in [redacted] thrillers when my friend and i meet up in person. i may or may not have to yell in DMS (w/ permission) if i get to playing other endings by myself today
